STAR SU TO REPRESENT FEDERAL BROACH IN NORTH AMERICA

Federal Broach & Machine Company LLC, Harrison, MI, has appointed Star SU LLC as a sales agent in North America for broach cutting tools and broaching machines as part of Federal's aggressive strategy to expand its marketing reach throughout the world.
Federal Broach & Machine has, since 1952, provided broach cutting tools and broaching machines to the automotive, large truck, farm and defense industries. Star SU manufactures broach resharpening machines at its Star Cutter, Elk Rapids, MI manufacturing facility.
Star SU LLC and Federal Broach have a joint venture service center operation in Queretaro, Mexico, providing regrinding, resharpening, and recoating service for broaches, hobs and shaving cutters.
H. B. Carbide, a unit of Star Cutter, offers solutions for carbide preforms.
Star Cutter Company offers, through its go-to-market Star SU sales group, services for coating tools, resharpening tools, CMS (CPU or PPU) programs, and repair and reconditioning of tools.

The CTG-3 features a small foot print for manufacturing or reconditioning cutting tools, part programming through NUMROTOplus Software, flexibility via a three-station HSK grinding wheel pack and coolant manifold change system. An auto loading system is also available for unattended operation.
